Welcome to the West Midlands Parkinson’s Network!

The WMPN brings together healthcare professionals who care for people with Parkinson’s and their families. There are over 10,000 people living in the West Midlands with Parkinson’s. The condition affects people in many different ways and so management needs to be tailored to the individual and is best delivered by well-coordinated specialist teams.

Many different health care professionals might be involved in caring for someone with Parkinson’s during the course of the condition. The WMPN aims to bring these different professionals together to enhance integration of services, encourage sharing of best practice and ultimately improve standards of care for people with Parkinson’s and their families.
